We are currently offering one Sunday morning class for adults, Lutheran Spirituality, at 9:15a.m. Spirituality is a common term today, but what does it mean? To find the right answer, Lutheran Spirituality directs adult Bible study participants to God's Word. Lutheran Spirituality explores the Bible, Luther's Small Catechism, and the Lutheran hymnal as integral resources for living out our faith in a spiritually confused--and confusing--world.
We offer a Friday class on Acts at 10:00 a.m. starting on September 18. We are using the Living Way Bible study course for this study.
Women's Bible Study/Discussion Group. Meets every Monday except the 1st in the library at 6:30 p.m. The women are studying and discussing the Nooma series.
Sunday School
For children Preschool - 12th grade, starts at 9:15a.m. Meets in the lower level of the church building.
For children Preschool – 5th grade, starts at 10:30 a.m. Children leave worship service shortly after the beginning.
Available for children 6 months through 5 years old, and starts at 9:15a.m. and is open through the end of worship services. Special arrangements can be made with the nursery attendant, by parents who want to attend the Adult classes during the 9:15-10:15 hour.
Catechism Instruction:
1st Communion Instruction: Begins September 8 at 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the modular building behind the church. For children in 5th grade or 10 years old or on a case-by-case basis in consultation with the child and parent.
Catechism Instruction for children 7-8 grades also begins September 8th. The first month willl be a review of Holy Communion with the younger children. Then beginning October 6 the 7-8 graders only will meet with the pastor at 3:30-5:00 p.m.
